2017 ALLIANZ WORLD RUN

What we have accomplished all together with the 2017 Allianz World Run is incredible:

CHARITY

With the 2017 Allianz World Run 10 SOS Children’s Villages are supported with tailor-made emergency packs amounting to a total value of 500,000€. Disasters, both natural and man-made, cause tremendous losses, particularly in developing countries. People and infrastructure in these regions are oftentimes not even insured against the effects caused by these threats, which makes the local communities highly vulnerable. The packs contain everything needed in the case of disasters, such as storms, flooding, earthquakes or droughts, in order to keep SOS Children’s Villages children, staff and surrounding inhabitants safe until further assistance can arrive. Local staff and residents will be trained in the correct use of the material and contingency plans will be put in place. In September one selected Allianz World Runner will be provided with the opportunity to visit the SOS Children’s Villages in Quito (Ecuador) personally. Stay tuned for more content.
